The One with The Public Restroom

Okay. I hate public restrooms. I hate hearing the sounds. I hate having that awkward moment when someone comes out just after creating some sort of World War 3 and acts like nothing happened. I hate coming back to my desk with a pair of shoes memorized from the person next to me just so I can see who did THAT. I hate it. Why why why.

Happy Friday my little bloggers. Have you noticed I have been writing more? Yanks tonight!! But its rainy and well Where The Wild Things Are is tonight as well. So what toooo do. I think Wild Wings with Mon and maybe the movie with Robin. Tomorrow the father wants to do fishing but it is supposed to be rainy so we shall see about that as well!

The latest craze is being “exclusive” so I will not inform on the other plans. I might babysit for my sister at some point. Anyways, I have been shutting off my phone a lot. I also haven’t been checking my email as often. Just to give myself more stuff to actually get back to and read when I actually do get things or calls/texts of significance. Sad life. Being at work everyday I found I was constantly checking my Facebook in the morning at 5a., when I got to work at 8a, all day, all night until probably 10 or 11p. That had to stop. So I have lessened my use of this lovely social networking tool.

Sadly, I just stopped writing to check my Facebook. No notifications. No surprise Kierstin, you checked it 15 seconds before now.

Anyways, I am currently in the middle of viewing the latest episode of the Office. I have to run out and return some merchandise and grab a lunchskiiiie. Hmmmmmm what to eat! Salad I suppose.

Cubemate is in Vegas. Bored.

Sex & the City

…filming at 7pm outside the Zeigfeld movie theater on 54th between 6th & 7th. Betchyer bottom dollar Miley might be there too….

The One with Dunder Mifflin Infinity

Okay.

So I know that you all might not know about this site, www.dundermifflininfinity.com, but you all should join very quickly. Basically it is an online version of  The Office. That is my favorite tv show on the air these days. (That still is running new episodes at least) Everyone has a title and you earn Schrutebucks by completely weekly tasks associating with the premiering episodes. It is a lot of fun. Excellent way to kill time too!!

Have you read the news story on Yahoo about the woman who showed up at the Burlington Coat Factory saying she won the lottery and would pay for everyone’s purchase up to $500? Crazy right? Apparently she rented a limo, stretch hummer limo to be precise, and rolled up and went right up to the cashier to make her announcement. She has 3 warrents existing with things like creating riots etc. Everyone in the store called their family and friends and as they were all checking out and racking up one long receipt, the woman disappeared. When they all realized they wouldn’t be getting free goods they started a riot!! Imagine that. The woman later got turned in by the limo driver when he realized he wasn’t being paid.

This morning I was writing our my petition to become Regional Manager of the branch I just joined. Haha, I thought of something that I think Michael might say. My task was to write why I would be a good Regional Manager. I made up this quote:

Being a manager is a lot like being a clown at a birthday party. Your job is to entertain, make laughs, and be the magic of the party. However, most times, a lot of the party-goers leave scared or crying. Actually most people are scared of clowns. Just as they should be scared of their manager.

Played slowpitch last night with JDemps and Linds. Lots of fun. I had a great slide into third in the first inning. It was one of those slide to the side, away from the bag, and precisely place my hand as I see the glove coming for the tag, kinda slides. YANKS TOMORROW NIGHT WOO!

Okay…work calls. But once I am done with my allocations and ADU booking…FRIDAY! Woohoo :)

Knickerbockers: Preseason Game

Holy Burger!

So I found this article today. I was reading about how Krispy Kremes stocks are slowing climbing back up from being nearly wiped off the market. As I was reading they mentioned a bacon cheeseburger between two doughnuts that they now offer. I thought it was a joke. I read the words again. Instantly I turned to Google to see if this rumor could be true….

The 'Craz-E Burger' comes topped with bacon, cheese and a buttered Krispy Kreme donut for a bun.

Talk about a heart-stopper.

The donut burger – a bacon cheeseburger with a buttered Krispy Kreme glazed donut standing in for a bun – is becoming a hit on the fair circuit and among some far-out foodies.

Amusingly, the heart-stopping sandwich was sold just outside the West Springfield agricultural fair’s “Better Living Center.”

Pioneered in the South and popularized by Food Network host Paula Deen, it was a big hit at this year’s Big E fair in Massachusetts. Fairgoers bought about 1,000 “Craz-E Burgers” each day of the fair’s 17-day run, which ended Sunday, organizers said.

At 1,500 calories per, that adds up to 2.5 million calories worth of sugary, cheesy, bacon-dressed beef – or the creation of an additional 730 pounds of waistline jiggle.

The over-the-top donut burger has become a national sensation in an era of increasing pressure to eat healthy, local and less.

A bar owner in Decatur, Ga., claims to have invented it in 2005 when he ran out of burger buns. He called it a Luther Burger after singer Luther Vandross, who is sometimes credited with inventing it.

The Gateway Grizzlies, a minor league baseball team in Illinois known more for their death-defying ballpark food than their hitting, touched off the craze in 2006 by adding a $4.50 donut burger to the concession lineup.

Going the extra mile, the Grizzlies deep-fried their glazed donut before slapping it on the bacon cheeseburger. Attendance soared.

The ever-inventive Grizzlies have moved on and now hawk a new gutbuster made of 1.6 pounds of meat topped with salsa, sour cream, chili and Fritos. Cost: $20 and 4,889 calories.

The One with my Lunch

Hey.

So I went and walked around for lunch today. I was uber bored and needed to do something so I walked up to 59th and then over to 9th and back down around 50th. I sat outside this place called Blockheads and had some pumpkin ice cream. My original goal was to get a yummy sandwich but as I was walking down 9th, a guy gave me a free wrap. He also gave me the menu.

I ate the wrap. I couldn’t believe that was a sample! It was a HUGE wrap and I asked him like if he forgot to cut it into pieces etc, but no, in fact he had a whole box of them. What a dumb marketing ploy no? After I ate the wrap in front of him, stared at the menu and pretended to debate actually going into the restaurant…I waited for him to give food to someone else and I jolted. This was difficult to me.

As you may know from previous entries, I cannot say no or put myself in situations where someone might be let down. So walking away from this restaurant after consuming a huge free wrap was in fact quite difficult. First, I had to turn around and go back the way I came, wait for the light to turn red, and cross the street, just to be able to walk downtown again. Second, I had a terrible after-taste in my mouth from consuming food that was a mystery to me.

Deanna, my planner, gave me a vitatop when I came back. Esseentially it is a healthy muffin top made out of cardboard. Tasted good though, she warmed it. I am starting my diet tomorrow with Sam and I will be sending Deanna an email each morning on what I consumed the day before. This way, she can crticize what I eat. She is very good at that and at being bluntly honest on what exactly is on her mind. Love that haha!

Work is insanely blah this week so far. I hate to waste my time writing about the actual work I do on here because that is just annoying. However, here is a shout out to my cube-mate, Mandy K. She will probably be in more entries about my working life. Okay…

Well that was fantastic. You wouldn’t know this but I just had to go meet with my AE & planner. So sketch. Sooo, so sketchy haha. I also just consumed the worst cupcake ever. Someone made these cute little cupcakes all decorated fancy with little bugs made out of M&Ms and grass piped really thing…as I walked away I tried it. YUCK! haha tasted like there was a cleaner or some weird substance in it. I hear giggling and turn around to see Mandy K reading Office Quotes. Guess I am not as dumb as once thought. I read those every single day and laugh all the time. Ha……………Diet starts demain! Quelle jolie!
